GOLF BALLS SYMMETRICAL. SOLID. SMOOTH.

Originating from the Eastern Coast in Scotland, golf balls were made from hardwood like Beech and Boxroot. The featherie ball was structured in 1618 using wet cowhide molded into a sphere with goose feathers inside. As the feathers and the leather dried, a hard and smooth compact ball was formed. Though too expensive as the manufacture was time consuming, this type of ball was used for three centuries. In 1848, the Gutta Percha ball came into existence. The Gutty Percha or the 'Gutty' was discovered by Rev. Dr. Robert Adams. Molded from the dried sap of the Sapodialla tree, the sap being rubbery could be heated and formed into a ball-like shape. As an interesting fact, improperly shaped balls had a truer flight than the more perfectly formed balls.

The advent of the rubber ball in 1898 had a hard rubber core wrapped with a high tension rubber thread and covered with aGutta Percha cover. To enable better airflow the ball had many outer designs, which introduced the dimple pattern in 1908. Symmetrically deployed around the ball, the dimples were used to create the turbulence in the outer layer the same way as nicks and the cuts in the ball did. So even now, golf players use new and used golf balls though used golf balls are segregated into categories according to the usage.

Britain established the standard weight and size of the golf ball in 1930 and America in 1932 with their specifications. But in 1990 a standard was set. The weight of the ball was specified as not more than 1.620 ounces avoirdupois (45.93 grams) and the diameter not less than 1.680 inches. Golf balls are subject to many stringent tests to adhere to the specified standards. But it is necessary for you to follow your instinct and read up on golf reviews before you buy golf balls and not go by brands. Though there are new types of balls being introduced, the variations in golf balls are seen in the number of dimples, the structure of the ball and the distance that a single shot can drive it to.

Golf reviews are informative and educative and this would help in learning more about golf balls and how to buy one that would suit you best. The reviews often describe the latest news about golf balls and their different structures. They are described as having a 3-piece or 4-piece structure with reviews on the capabilities of each respective structure. The reviews also include which of the golf balls are good for putting and chipping, which ball can be used for golf matches and of course the price. So, go through the reviews on golf balls and get ready to tee off with your favorite one!

Testimonials

Here are some real-world examples of people who have achieved improvement in Golf by using the Interlink Golf Systems' DVD lessons.

Hi Craig,
When I saw your web site I remembered you teaching at that driving range off Deer Springs Rd. and Highway 15 and the article written about your system. In the article you stated that you would put your system up against any of those big name teachers and their systems. Well last Tuesday I ordered your Interlink Golf System's dvd's. After watching just the first two modules and taking the practice drills and methods to the practice range and course I have actually quit going to the pro I was seeing. I haven't watched all of the dvd's yet but the one thing that sold me on your dvd's was the mini lesson on your web site about the tee shot with the driver. You talked about the downswing and how it had two parts. The downswing and the body rotation. Without the body rotation the club head simlply hits the ground behind the ball. I tried it the next day on the course and had immediate results. Also I enjoy the manner in which you present the material.

Thank you for your time,
Douglas Rienhart
